Sundays for us are usually spent home. This time of year, there is football on. Not because we are huge sports fans, but because we like the sound of it in the background. And football goes nicely with fall food like roasted root vegetables and dips.
Laundry, cleaning, maybe some grocery shopping. Bike riding, patio sweeping, living room wrestling, baby doll swaddling. All part of the dance.
The kids get up early but are slow to get around. Pajamas stay on until late in the morning. Peanut butter toast and bananas are a frequent lunch. Shirtless for Alice because I'm already sick of laundry by 11 am.
I love Sundays. I hope they always remain this quiet day of nothing and everything for our family.
