Most of this month was spent in Michigan with our families but the last bit was spent here, in hot Los Angeles.
So grateful for our little pool. It's been hot, the water is cool and these kids like to jump.
Chazzy started his first day of his last year of preschool. Next up: college.
I don't know why we don't bust out the sidewalk chalk more often.
Ama was a pretty pretty princess. And thanks Pinterest for this idea.
It's that time of year again.
Had to tame the mane.
Cook gave us a scare the Friday of Labor Day weekend. She started vomiting and became unable to walk. We took her to the vet and he wasn't sure if she was possibly bitten by something (or maybe something worse). She was given all sorts of meds and we were told to feed her chicken and rice all weekend. It was a "wait and see" weekend. Fortunately, "wait and see" + chicken and rice worked out in her favor. Well, in our favor. Cook seems to be back to her usual self.
Goonies. Need I say more? Best way to beat the heat.
Ottoman parking lot.
When I make a bed, she messes it up like it's her job.
September is shaping up to be just as hot and just as nice.
