sprinkle, sprinkle little baby

This past Saturday, friends and family showered my friend & neighbor - Katie - with love and gifts for her 2nd baby girl.

As a reflection of her love of Elvis, the bambino's name will be Presley. The theme of the sprinkle (for those who don't know, a "sprinkle" is a baby shower for a 2nd child) was Graceland circa 1965.

Our other friend & neighbor, Maggie, made the banana pudding parfaits. Gorgeous!

Nana Liz designed the flowers.

My hubby grilled up the pb & banana sandwiches.

Katie's dear friend Sam helped put together the little touches (and cleaned up after the shower).

Another of Katie's friends picked up our Frosted cupcakes from Belmont Shore.

Katie's cousin did her hair a la Priscilla (and I made her wear the Elvis glasses - which look great on her, actually).

Giulietta ran around, visiting and getting loved on.

Gifts were opened, sherbet punch was slurped, family chatted, friends caught up, Charlie ate way too much cupcake . . .

And another baby was sprinkled with love. Keep 'em coming, Morads!
